I'm on holiday.
Even though I live here.
Coffee, gelato and cucina by day; pizza and panuozzo when the light changes. On Plaza Doctor Arce, in Estepona's old town, since 1999.

what Malía is
The place you come back to.
Not an ice-cream parlour. Not a café. Not a pizzeria. A Mediterranean way of living time — from morning to night, in the centre of Estepona. Southern produce, no costume.
The day
Organic coffee, colazione, gelato made in-house every morning. Cucina del Sud from 13:00. The square, the fountain, the shade of the orange trees.
The night
The oven comes on. Pizza, panuozzo, a glass of wine. The square changes light; Malía changes with it.
This page lives the whole day: dawn at the top, sunset halfway down, night at the bottom. Scroll and see.
We don't believe in hurry.
We believe in the coffee that goes cold while the conversation carries on. In a pizza shared without watching the clock. In a gelato that melts before the story ends.
Every detail exists to remember something very simple: the beauty of living slowly.

the place
Plaza Doctor Arce.
The church, the fountain, the orange trees, the swallows. Malía doesn't decorate the square: it has been part of it for over twenty-five years. Two minutes from the beach, beside the pedestrian heart of Estepona's old town.
Photography on its way — the place is mid-renovation. These windows are waiting for natural light.
